Gravity Movie Excels At Using Audio & Visual Space

The Gravity movie is intense. As in, I declined to join c2cDad at an advance showing of Gravity with Popular Mechanics for fear that I'd suffer an immediate onslaught of anxiety watching an irrational fear of mine play out before my eyes. Campbell's Wisest Kid NYC Launch

I had a fun recent afternoon at the NYC launch of the Campbell's Wisest Kid campaign. Everyone was excited to see The Wisest Kid answering questions up on the big board overlooking the Campbell's Soup pop-up booth in Times Square. :-) People were wearing The Wisest Kid beards and handing out cans of Campbell's Condensed Soup. Meet the Breeds: American Kennel Club Expo Returns to Javits Center NYC

This weekend brings the return of the American Kennel Club's Meet the Breeds expo at the Javits Center in NYC. Taking place September 28-29, 2013, Meet the Breeds is a family favorite annual event, and a wonderful place for people considering adopting a pet dog or cat to explore options, have some real-life hands-on time with the different breeds and get some questions answered about pet ownership. Last week we ventured out to the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, NY to attend a back to school shopping spree event with KidzVuz. It was the first time we'd visited a RUUM American Kids' Wear store, and it was a delightful (dare I say fun?!) shopping experience. Smurfs 2 Movie in Theaters Now

While in Chicago, we were invited to attend a The Smurfs 2 movie preview with Sony Pictures, The Moms #smurfmamarazzi, Build-a-Bear Workshop and McAfee, and the Kiddo was all too ready to get his smurf on . . . We were greeted by the Build-a-Bear Smurf line, and even got to choose one for ourselves as we walked the blue carpet. MomTrends Beauty Event at Blowtique in Chicago

While I was in Chicago last week, I attended a fabulous beauty event hosted by the MomTrends team. I was treated to a blowout and mani while I tasted some healthy snacks, drinks, and nibbles. The salon was packed with beauty and lifestyle influencers, and everywhere you glanced, it looked festive and fun. We arrived home from BlogHer to find DreamWorks Dragons Riders of Berk Part 1 & Part 2 on our doorstep.
